Prof. Dr. Subas Chandra Saha graduated from Dhaka Medical College. He also trained in the Department of Pediatrics of Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he acquired knowledge and techniques of the management of Neonates and other pediatric patients.
Field of expertise
He is well trained in the exchange of Transfusions of Neonatal Jaundice and other complicated cases like Meningitis, Encephalitis etc. He was a master trainer of various programs like IMCI, ARI, and Diarrheal Diseases. He was the founding Principal of Shaheed Taz Uddin Ahmad Medical College, Gazipur as well as Head, the Paediatric Dept. and worked there for three and half years. Then he transferred to Cox’s Bazar Medical College as Principal as well as Head, Pediatric Dept. He retired from Govt. service as Professor and Principal, Cox’s Bazar Medical College from 11 Jan 2020.
